Ramel Wallace
Ramel (Real J. Wallace) is a San Diego native and a recording artist. He is an educator, poet and Hip Hop storytelling artist. Ramel is heavily involved in San Diego, especially creative spaces. He hosts the monthly lecture series CreativeMornings at the San Diego Central Library; created a book club; voice acts; writes poetry and music; owns a business; works for a marketing company; co-founded a production organization centered around arts and education; serves on the San Diego African American Museum of Fine Art board; and even carves out 15 minutes of his time every Friday to chat with new people.

Alex Robinson
Alex Robinson has been an essential force behind Soul Sunday in San Diego, supporting founder Blake Dye “from day one when this was all just an idea.” Alex brings a vibrant energy and unwavering dedication that has helped shape the event’s growth and vibrancy. As early as the first planning stages, he played a pivotal role in the logistics and team collaboration that would help Soul Sunday expand. His consistent commitment and dynamic presence on stage and behind the scenes continue to elevate the event’s impact in San Diego's arts and culture scene.

Freeze
Freeze is the host of Soul Sunday and a talented artist, known for curating vibrant music experiences and bringing energy to every performance. His work bridges community, creativity, and the pulse of San Diego’s music scene.

Phillip Esteban
Phillip Esteban is a San Diego chef celebrated for his restaurants Wildflour in Liberty Station and White Rice.. A former Food Network Chopped winner, he blends Michelin experience with family-focused flavors rooted in heritage. Beyond the kitchen, he’s a community leader, using food to champion culture and sport supporting San Diego through initiatives like Open Gym and Base Kamp.

Aaron Mays-Barbosa
Aaron Mays-Barbosa is a San Diego-based creative and operator of Sunsets and Brainwaves, where he brings music, art, and design together through immersive experiences. He’s known for live activations like screen-printing pop-ups, creating exclusive tote bags and interactive art moments that engage the community. Beyond events, Aaron is a hip-hop artist (Flxwz), producer, and visionary, blending creativity across music and visual experiences. His work bridges culture, collaboration, and hands-on creativity, making each project uniquely memorable.

Alicia Perry
Alicia Perry, San Diego native and Beverage Director at CH Projects, has spent nearly eight years shaping the city’s top cocktail destinations. Most awarded for her work at Polite Provisions, she’s known for her playful, inventive approach to cocktails. Beyond drinks, Alicia champions mentorship, community, and an inclusive hospitality culture that inspires both guests and industry peers.

Matt Boldys
New to the San Diego marketing scene, this trailblazer with experience in over 20 countries helps brands excite through events, experiential marketing, and unforgettable audience experiences. An avid ultra relay runner, having tackled LA to Vegas, he channels his energy into inspiring teams and driving results.

Stacy Keck
Stacy Keck is a San Diego–based photographer known for her vibrant, authentic style that captures the energy and personality of her subjects. With a background in editorial, lifestyle, and event photography, she’s built a reputation for creating imagery that feels both modern and timeless. Michi Michi
Michi Michi embodies the essence of sharing and connection. The term signifies the act of dividing or cutting, not in a literal sense, but in a meaningful and communal way. It's about sharing a piece, whether it be a slice of cake or creating space for someone else. Michi Michi celebrates the joy of giving, the warmth of sharing, and the beauty found in dividing something with others, creating moments of connection and togetherness.

Split Bakehouse
Split Bakehouse started in 2018, from there they created a SPLIT menu of traditional pastries as well as vegan pastries. This was because not everybody was onboard with only offering vegan pastries to the the customers at the coffee shop. But as time went by, they realized how much their customers loved the vegan pastries - they couldn't tell the difference and most even loved the vegan ones better! Today they are fully vegan!

Soul Sunday
